What began as a simple 11-person Bible study group has now grown to reach hundreds of thousands of people across the USA and around the world.
Thunder Outreach has even set the Guinness World Record and Ripley’s World Record for the World’s Largest Community Food Drive in 24 Hours.
Thunder Outreach Ministries is a 501(c)(3) faith-based community program.
Thunder Outreach partners with a variety of community organizations, including churches, businesses, fire and police departments, mayors, and other local groups. Through building projects, food drives, and music outreach programs, the organization not only addresses immediate needs but also fosters long-lasting connections within each community it serves.
Thunder Outreach's primary mission is to build team spirit and strengthen community networks that endure long after each event.

About Our Executive Director: Chaplain Mark Malizzi
Chaplain Mark Malizzi is an ordained Evangelist and Minister of the Gospel through Dr. Bruce Allen and Still Waters International Ministries. He is also a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Veteran.
In 2016, Mark was honored as the Boyertown Citizen of the Year for his dedication to the community. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Thunder Outreach Ministries and is actively involved in multiple organizations, including:
- Boyertown Area Fire and Rescue: Chaplain and Vice-President
- Blue Knights PA IV International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club: Club Chaplain and International Advisor Board
- Boyertown American Legion Post 471: Chaplain and Board Member
- Heaven's Thunder Band- Drummer and Ministry leader
- Laurel Mountain Ministries - Director of Ministry and Board Member
Mark also serves as a Regional First Responder Chaplain, providing support to local fire and police departments. He has completed extensive crisis training, including:
- Sharing Hope in Crisis Training with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association
- Christ in Action Crisis Training and certification in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF)
Mark has been recognized nationally for his service, receiving:
- Two National Awards from the Four Chaplains Memorial Foundation
- Three National Awards from the American Police Hall of Fame

From their hometown to the Pentagon, the PA House of Representatives, the US Senate, and the White House, Thunder Outreach programs have been acknowledged by local and national leaders.
Chaplain Mark Malizzi is widely recognized for his heart and passion to reach people with God’s love and the message of Jesus Christ. He has also worked in the automotive service industry, earning national recognition as one of the top service managers for customer satisfaction and team leadership.
Lisa Malizzi has been instrumental in Thunder Outreach’s programs, working closely with women and children to share God’s love and support. She also serves as the Relay Center Coordinator for Operation Christmas Child in the Reading, PA area.
Mark and Lisa were profoundly impacted by their work with powerful international ministries such as Brian Lake, Matt Sorger, and Keith Miller. With an evangelistic heart and apostolic focus, they are committed to reaching people from all walks of life through Thunder Outreach programs, bringing God’s love and life-changing experiences in Jesus’ name.
Since 1998, Mark and Lisa have led Christian ministries, teaching LIFE groups, marriage ministries, and outreach programs. Having experienced personal transformation and restoration in their own marriage, they are passionate about helping others find their God-given purpose and experiencing the true power of God’s love and Spirit.
Mark and Lisa have provided vision, leadership, and planning for faith-based outreach programs, impacting countless lives and setting Ripley’s Believe It or Not and Guinness World Records.
